I had been relatively healthy, active, and a healthy weight for most of my life — until I reached menopause and became an empty nester. Suddenly, everything shifted. I found myself struggling with a loss of purpose and facing a cascade of health issues: fatty liver disease, heart palpitations, hypothyroidism, joint pain, poor glucose control, high blood pressure, and a frustrating gain in fat alongside muscle loss.
Seeking answers, I turned to a functional medicine doctor who guided me back to full health. Together, we addressed the root causes, and I was able to reverse every one of those conditions. That experience didn’t just restore my wellbeing — it gave me a renewed sense of purpose.
Inspired by my transformation, I trained as a Health Coach to support others on their journey toward better health. Along the way, I’ve continued to study and integrate a range of complementary approaches — from nutrition and movement to mindset and rest — creating a holistic and sustainable way of living. It's this lived experience, alongside my training, that shapes the compassionate, personalised support I now offer to my clients.
